Stamped concrete imprint work is a decorative coating layer that mimics the look of natural materials at a fraction of the cost. It is used for a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial applications, due to the improved impact resistance, surface strength and stain resistance. 

The system offers the best of both worlds – the durability and strength of concrete and the beauty and appeal of natural stone, slate, or marble. It consists of a hardener and colour release, applied on wet concrete, followed by stamping to create the required texture. Control and expansion joints are cut to ensure longevity of the surface before it is finished with a seal coat. For maintenance, the seal coat can be re-applied every 3 to 5 years to ensure that the colour and finish does not deteriorate. 

The versatility of the method is endless and can be applied both horizontally and vertically. Some examples of vertical installation are shown below. Specifically, for staircases, it can be used to create a continuous pattern.
